Track and field hosts its Wisconsin Twilight in Madison on Friday
MEN'S TRACK & FIELD
This Week: The Badgers host their lone home outdoor meet of the year, the Wisconsin Twilight, on Friday at the Dan McClimon Memorial Track. Field events are slated to begin at 2 p.m., while track events start at 6 p.m.
Last Week: Wisconsin sent athletes to three different meets across the country, as the Badgers won the 4x1600-meter relay at the Drake Relays on Thursday, while Jake Wallenfang finished third in the pole vault on Friday. On Sunday, Morgan McDonald broke the UW freshman record for the outdoor 5000 meters at the Payton Jordan Invitational, while Riley Budde won three throwing events at the UW-Whitewater Drake Alternative.
Need to Know: McDonald's 5000 meters time of 13:34.78 ranks him sixth all-time on Wisconsin's top-10 list. Only UW legends Chris Solinsky, Mohammed Ahmed, Matt Tegenkamp, Maverick Darling and Elliot Krause have faster times than the Australian distance ace. In addition, McDonald's time ranks as the eighth-best time by a Badger in a regular season meet and puts him fifth in the NCAA this season.

WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD
This Week: No. 19 Wisconsin wraps up its outdoor regular season slate with the Wisconsin Twilight on Friday at the Dan McClimon Memorial Track. Field events will begin at 2 p.m., while running events start at 6 p.m.Â
Last Week: The Badgers finished sixth in the distance medley relay at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa, while four different Badgers won throwing titles at the UW-Whitewater Drake Alternative Meet on Sunday.Â
Need to Know:Â Wisconsin's Kelsey Card enters the final home competition of her career leading the NCAA in the discus with a mark of 203-9. She also ranks second in the shot put with a toss of 59-2 1/4.

SOFTBALL (27-21-1, 10-9-1 Big Ten)
This Week: Wisconsin (27-21-1 Overall, 10-9-1 Big Ten) travels to face Nebraska (30-17, 11-8) for its final Big Ten and regular season series of the year. The Huskers lead the all-time series 15-3 and 8-2 in Lincoln.
Last Week: UW split with Northwestern on Senior Day in a doubleheader, winning 4-1 in the opening game, but falling in a close 4-3 matchup in the second game. It was Wisconsin's 10th game lost by one run this season. Sophomore Kelsey Jenkins led the way in the first game with a pair of hits, including her team-leading seventh home run of the season.
Good to Know: Senior Taylor-Paige Stewart held a stellar 0.78 ERA through four appearances over the last five games and pitched a total of 18 innings. She finished the week with a 3-1 record and only gave up two earned runs. She recorded a season-high nine strikeouts in a single game against Green Bay en route to back-to-back shutouts by the Badgers.

WOMEN'S GOLF
This Week: Brooke Ferrell qualified as an individual for the NCAA Bryan Regional held Thursday through Saturday at the par-72, 6,373-yards Traditions Club in Bryan, Texas. Texas A&M University will host.
Last Week: Ferrell qualified for the NCAA regional after finishing third at the Big Ten championship with a school record 7-under 209. Ferrell led the conference meet the first two rounds.
Good to Know: The junior from Edgerton is one of 384 participants selected to one of four regionals. She led the Badgers in scoring for a second season, this year with a school record 73.21 scoring average. The national championships are May 20-25 at Eugene County Club in Eugene, Oregon, hosted by the University of Oregon.
