Reunion of 2006 National Championship team highlights Geoffrion Hockey Classic

Team White tops Team Red in annual charity hockey game
MADISON, Wis. – Not only was the 2016 Blake Geoffrion Hockey Classic a successful charity event, but it also served this year as a reunion for members of the Wisconsin men's hockey 2006 National Championship team. After all the fun and shenanigans were done, the NCAA champs of "Team White" earned a 12-11 victory over "Team Red" on Saturday.
More than 1,800 fans packed LaBahn Arena for the third-annual event that featured more than 30 alums in attendance. The classic also raised more than $50,000 for the UW Health Burn Center.

4) Richter won a Stanley Cup with NYR in 1994, was the All-Star Game MVP in '94 and was a HOF inductee in 2008. Also was '88 U.S. Olympian.
