MADISON, Wis. -- Here are some tips for fans attending the American Family Insurance Championship Friday-Sunday, June 24-26 at University Ridge Golf Course.
1. Â General Admission Tickets are good for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Â
2. Â Active Duty, Military Reserve, National Guard, Military Retirees, and Veterans are Free. Â Click here to claim your ticket.
3. Â The W Grill and surrounding terrace will become The Leinie Lodge at the Clubhouse! Â Buy your upgraded ticket now!Â
4. Â Here's the field as of June 14th.Â
5. Â Kids 15 and under are Free, thanks to Culvers!
6. Â The Great Dane will be sponsoring the beer tent on #17 which will be open to the public.
7. Â The property is looking different every day. Â Check out the most recent pictures on Facebook.
8. Â The Wisconsin State Journal has put together an extremely helpful interactive guide for the Championship.
9. Â Parking is free and will be located on the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course at University Ridge (weather permitting).
10. Â Get the AmFam Championship App or follow the event on social media at #AmFamChamp. Â Spectator info.
11. Â Gates will open at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, and 6 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Â Course Map.
Still Spots Available for the 4-person 25th Anniversary Scramble!
University Ridge will turn 25 on July 1, 2016, so we thought it would be a good opportunity to throw a party! Â The 25th Anniversary 4-Person Scramble sponsored by Under Armour will be a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start on Friday, July 1. Â
For $150 per player you'll receive a gift from Under Armour, lunch before your round, practice balls, 18 holes of golf with GPS cart, hors d'oeuvres after golf, and a chance to win fantastic prizes from Under Armour on the first official day of the partnership between UW and UA. The Pro Shop will not be accessible to the public Monday-Thursday, June 20-23. After tournament week, the golf course, golf shop, practice facility, and W Grill will not be open to the public on June 27 & 28th. Â Everything will open again on Wednesday, June 29th and we look forward to a great second half of the golf season!
