Badgers set to compete at Marquette Invitational

Eight Badgers to tee off at Milwaukee Country Club

MADISON, Wis. -- The Wisconsin men's golf team will remain in the Badger state to compete in the Marquette Invitational on Oct. 2-3 in River Hills, Wisconsin.

Held at the par-70, 7,097-yard Milwaukee Country Club, Marquette's 54-hole tournament includes SMU, Northwestern, Northern Illinois, UCLA, Ole Miss, Liberty, Seton Hall and Valparaiso.

Wisconsin's lineup consists of sophomore Jordan Hahn, junior Eddie Wajda, freshman Nick Robinson, senior Ben Skogen and junior Johnny Decker. Freshman Pete Kuhl, senior Tommy Schofield and sophomore Brett Robinson will compete as individuals.

In last weekend's Windon Memorial Classic, Hahn finished at 4-under to tie for second and lead the Badgers to a ninth-place finish. Hahn finished just three strokes behind the lead to match his career-best finish, while Wajda finished at 6-over to tie for 24th place.

Sunday's 36 holes begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 am. The final round will tee off on Monday at 8 am. Live scoring can be found at Golfstat.com.
