Three earn Academic All-Big Ten honors

Robinson, Schofield and Wajda honored by conference
MADISON, Wis. – Three Wisconsin men's golfers, senior Tommy Schofield, junior Eddie Wajda III and sophomore Brett Robinson, earned Academic All-Big Ten honors, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Schofield earned the honor for the third time in his career while this is Wajda's second academic all-conference award. Robinson won in the first year that he was eligible.
Schfofield played in 13 tournaments for the Badgers during his career, including three last season. Robinson competed in eight of UW's 11 tournaments in 2016-17 while Wajda, whose 75.3 average last season was fourth-best on the team, played in 10 tournaments.
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, student-athletes must be letterwinners who are in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
