Ferrell, Johnson honored for third time
MADISON, Wis. – Seven Wisconsin women's golfers, seniors Michelle Cheung and Brooke Ferrell, juniors Aya Johnson, Becky Klongland and Ali Nageotte and sophomores Tess Hackworthy and Jessica Reinecke, earned Academic All-Big Ten honors, the conference announced on Wednesday.
For Ferrell and Johnson it marks the third time they have been named Academic All-Big Ten. Klongland and Nageotte both earned their second career honors.
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, student-athletes must be letterwinners who are in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
