Wisconsin falls 1-0 to UIC
CHICAGO, Ill. – The Wisconsin men's soccer team dropped its final exhibition match of the preseason 1-0 to UIC on Saturday night at Flames Field. Five Badger newcomers saw valuable playing time in the match and gained great experience.
"It was another good tough exhibition match against another NCAA tournament team," head coach John Trask said. "I thought there were some good performances from a lot of the younger guys and we feel this is a pretty deep team. We will move forward and now have six days until we open against a very good Tulsa team."
