Here are five things you need to know:
1. Starting Five: The Badgers' lineup for this weekend consists of freshmen Griffin Barela and Sam Anderson, sophomores Nick Robinson and Pete Kuhl and junior Jordan Hahn. Junior Brett Robinson and freshman Tom Calbi will compete as individuals.
2. The Field: A total of 15 teams will compete this weekend. In addition to Wisconsin, Augusta, Florida State, Iowa State, Marquette, Michigan State, Mississippi, Northern Illinois, Northwestern, Purdue, South Florida, Texas A&M, UC Davis, UCLA and UTEP are participating.
3. The Format: Sunday, Monday and Tuesday will consist of 18-hole rounds with players starting on holes #1 and #10. Play starts at 9 a.m. on Sunday and Monday and 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Live stats are available via GolfStat.com.
4. Championship Site: One week after playing at the site of the 2017 NCAA Championships, the Badgers will tee it up at Erin Hills Golf Club, the site of the 2017 U.S. Open, won by Brooks Koepka in June. The course will play Par 72 at 7,721 yards - just shy of the US Open layout (7,741), which was the longest in major championship history.
5. Quotable: "It will be fun to be back at Erin Hills. This may be that youngest lineup in the nation this week and we are very excited. We felt we were one score away from another good week last week after a solid performance at the Badger Invitational. We will rely on the leadership of Jordan and look for our young guys to continue to play well." – UW Head Coach Michael Burcin
