No. 46 Nebraska holds off UW, 4-0 at home
Lincoln, Neb. – Facing their fourth consecutive ranked opponent, the Badgers were unable to hold off No. 46 Nebraska in Lincoln on Friday. No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 singles went unfinished for Wisconsin (2-8 Big Ten 8-14), with Nebraska (6-4, 17-6) clinching the match in four straight points.Â

Nebraska grabbed the doubles point to open the match, knocking off the duos of junior Sara Castellano and freshman Lexi Keberle in the No. 1 spot, 6-3, and the No. 3 pair of senior Kelsey Grambeau and sophomore Michelle Linden.

Grambeau, Linden and sophomore Melissa Pick were all defeated in straight sets, failing to pick up more than two games in either set.

Keberle won the first set versus Nebraska's Brianna Lashway and was leading 3-2 in the second set before the match was ended prematurely.
