
Siverling, Whitehouse honored as rowing All-Americans

Seniors become the 14th and 15th Wisconsin openweight rowing All-Americans
MADISON, Wis. – Seniors Lexi Siverling and Megan Whitehouse earned recognition by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association as 2018 Pocock Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) All-Americans.
Siverling, a Cadott native, was named a first-team pick, while Whitehouse, a native of Muskego, earned honorable mention recognition.
The duo sat seven and six seat, respectively, to power Wisconsin's varsity eight to 15th at the 2018 NCAA championships in Sarasota, Florida, and a 15th-place overall team finish at the May event.
They helped the squad reach its 11th consecutive NCAA championships, and ninth consecutive top-three finish at the Big Ten championships.
Siverling, a three-time Academic All-Big Ten rower and a 2018 CRCA National Scholar Athlete, competed at the 2017 World Rowing Under 23 Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, helping Team USA to 10th-place in the women's four. She was a 2018 First-Team All-Big Ten and a 2018 CRCA All-Conference rower.
Whitehouse, a two-time Academic All-Big Ten pick was also a 2017 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar. The 2018 Second-Team All-Big Ten was part of the 2018 CRCA All-Conference team.
