Parking Information
Frances Street (south of Dayton Street) and Lake Street (between Dayton and W. Johnson Street) will have parking restrictions starting at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 1 through 4 a.m. on Monday, September 3. Parking is available in the lots surrounding the Kohl Center on a first-come, first-serve basis. UW-Madison Campus Lots 29, 46, 48 (accessible parking), 83, and 91 are all available for $10 (cash only) starting at 3 p.m.
The City of Madison State Street Ramp (430 N. Frances Street) will have $8 special event pay-on-entry parking available.
General Admission Floor Entry
The Kohl Center welcomes fans with General Admission (floor) tickets to begin lining up at the designated entrance, located at the far west end of Gate A beginning at 10 a.m., on Sunday, September 2. The Kohl Center asks that all guests adhere to the following guidelines:
- University police advise that Chapter 18 of the Wisconsin Administrative Code bars camping on campus. Camping includes the overnight use of sleeping bags, blankets, makeshift shelters, motor homes, campers or camp trailers.
- Alcoholic beverages will not be permitted in line.
- You must be present to get a space in line. Guests will not be allowed to "hold" a place in line for other fans planning to arrive later.
- All items that do not comply with the Kohl Center carry-in policy should return items to their vehicles before 5 p.m.
- Fans with general admission (floor) tickets will enter the designated doors at the far right of the Gate A entrance. All fans will be wrist-banded upon entry at 6 p.m.
Premium Seating Entry
Fans with suite or Nicholas Club tickets will enter through the Premium Seat Entrance, located at the far left of Gate A at 6 p.m.
All other Tickets
All other fans with tickets are able to enter through Gates A, B, or C. at 6 p.m.
Entry and Security Procedures
All fans are subject to search upon entry at all entrances and will go through walk-through metal detectors. Remove your cell phones and keys as you approach. Do not remove watches, shoes, hats, wallets, belts, or coins.
Prohibited items at the Kohl Center include the following:- Professional audio or video recording devices - (cameras, recorders, and iPads)
- Oversized bags (Maximum bag size is 8.5" x 11" with clear totes no large than 12" x 6" x 12")
- Flags or signs with poles
- Alcohol, drugs, illegal substances, or any paraphernalia associated with drug use
- Backpacks
- Cans, bottles, coolers, or any outside food or drink
- Drones
- Fireworks
- Laptops
- Laser pens or pointers of any type
- Monopods, tripods, and selfie-sticks
- Noisemakers and air horns
- All guns and weapons
- Any additional item deemed dangerous or inappropriate
Building Reminders
For the safety of all fans in attendance, it is strongly recommended that fans refrain from pushing, moshing, or body surfing while in the Kohl Center.
This concert also includes use of pyrotechnics, strobe lights, lasers, and fog, which may have an adverse effect on some medical conditions.
