Badgers fall at Boston College, Caufield scores twice
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- The No. 16 Wisconsin Badger men's hockey team (0-1-0) fell at No. 10 Boston College Eagles (1-0-0) in a tough opening season road loss, 5-3, Friday night.

The highly-anticipated freshman classes for both Wisconsin and Boston College stood out in their collegiate debuts.

Cole Caufield, the 15th overall draft pick in the 2019 NHL Draft, scored his first two collegiate goals, both on the power play, with one in the first period and another one in the second.

Freshman Owen Lindmark added his first collegiate marker with the Badgers shorthanded and killing a five-minute major to cut into a what was then a 4-1 deficit.Â
Caufield's second power-play tally made it 4-3, but BC score early in the third period to regain a two-goal lead.

Junior forward Linus Weissbach chipped in two assists, while freshman forward Alex Turcotte recorded his first career point with an assist.
