Wisconsin and Iowa battle to a 2-2 tie at McClimon
MADISON Wis. – The No. 10 Wisconsin women's soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to seven games after drawing Iowa, 2-2, on Thursday night at the McClimon Soccer Complex.

The Badgers (10-2-2, 6-0-1 Big Ten) remained unbeaten in Big Ten Conference action after a long, double-overtime draw with the Hawkeyes (13-3-1, 5-3-1 Big Ten).

UW started off strong, earning a 1-0 lead in the seventh minute of the game. Cameron Murtha recorded the first goal with assists from Dani Rhodes and Camryn Biegalski. Minutes later, the Hawkeyes turned it around and tied up the game, 1-1.

But later in the second frame, Wisconsin later earned a penalty kick of its own, as Dani Rhodes calmly converted from the spot to tie the game at 2-2.

UP NEXT: The Badgers return to McClimon Soccer Complex on Sunday, where they will host Nebraska at 1 p.m. Sunday's contest will be in honor of the four graduating seniors, Allie Winterfield, Payton Wesley, Camryn Biegalski, and Dani Rhodes.

- Dani Rhodes's goal marks her third penalty kick this season, contributing to her 33 career goals and eight goals this season.
- This is the sixth time this season that Wisconsin has entered overtime.
- The Badgers are now tied for first place in the Big Ten with Michigan as both teams have 19 points, but UW has played one less game than the Wolverines.
- Wisconsin remains undefeated at home this season with a 6-0-1 record.
