Madison, Wis. – No. 13 Wisconsin (7-4, 2-0 B1G) takes to the road for the first time this conference season, traveling to No. 2 Nebraska (11-1, 2-0) on Saturday. Wisconsin faces the Huskers at 7 p.m. from the Devaney Center in Lincoln, Nebraska, live on the Big Ten Network.

UW is in the midst of the toughest part of its schedule, playing four ranked opponents in five matches. Wisconsin has already played six ranked teams this season and has played the toughest schedule in the nation this season, according to NCAA reports.

1. ONE THOUSAND:
The Wisconsin program picked up victory No. 1,000 against Penn State on Wednesday night. UW is now 1,000-540-12 in its 46th year of play.

2. PUSHING THROUGH THE RANKS: After losing their first four matches to ranked team, the Badgers have defeated their last two ranked opponents. UW swept No. 15 Purdue on Sept. 27 and downed No. 5 Penn State on Wednesday. Wisconsin is now 2-4 against top-25 foes this year.

3. CAREER NIGHT: Junior Grace Loberg led the Badgers over Penn State on Wednesday, putting away a career-high 21 kills. The 6-foot 3 outside hitter also hit a season-best .486 (21K-4E-35TA) against the Nittany Lions.

4. APPROACHING MILESTONES:
Senior Tiffany Clark has 999 digs as a Badger and is on track to become the 17th UW athlete to tally 1,000 digs, needing one save. The 5-foot-11 libero has 1,238 digs in her fourth season after spending her freshman season at Michigan. Junior Dana Rettke needs just 19 kills to reach 1,000 kills in her career. She will become the 23rd Badger to record 1,000 kills in a career. The 6-foot-8 middle blocker should become the second-fastest UW player to record 1,000 career kills.

5. SCOUTING THE OPPONENT:
The Huskers are 11-1 on the season and 3-0 in the Big Ten after edging Illinois, 3-2, and sweeping Northwestern on the road last weekend. Nebraska swept Rutgers on the road on Wednesday. The Huskers only loss this season is at home to No. 2 Stanford, 3-1, on Sept. 18. Nebraska has four players that average 2.2-or-more kills per set. Junior Lexi Sun, a 6-2 outside hitter, leads the Huskers with 3.50 kills per set. Junior Jazz Sweet, a 6-2 outside hitter, adds 2.82 kills per set. Junior Lauren Stivrins, a 6-4 middle blocker, chips in 2.30 kills per set while hitting a team-best .342. Stivrins also leads Nebraska with 1.18 blocks per set. Freshman Madi Kubik, a 6-3 outside hitter, contributes 2.25 kills per set to the Nebraska offense. Sophomore Nicklin Hames, a 5-10 setter, puts up 10.27 assists per set while adding 3.07 digs per set. Freshman Kenzie Knuckles, a 5-8 libero, has a team-best 3.85 digs per set.
