MADISON, Wis.Tell us about playing in the Olympics.

"Definitely after having a year to reflect, I remember different moments and can see the big picture of what we were able to accomplish. Being able to make that dream come true is obviously very special for me. On Snapchat, they have memories from what happened each day a year ago and this whole month I've been looking back at photos and it's definitely fun reminiscing on those moments."

What was your favorite Olympic moment?

"Hands down, my favorite moment of the Olympics was walking in the opening ceremonies. That was when it really felt real. That was when your dream was becoming a reality and you're coming in not just part of Team Canada hockey, but Team Canada with all the other athletes. That was very special."

How have you adjusted from playing in the Olympics to playing college hockey again?

"It's been a wild year and an interesting transition coming into college. It was obviously my goal to make the Olympic team, but I never really thought about how it would affect my college career. Coming back was interesting because it all felt brand new, almost like I was a freshman figuring out how college works again. This year has gone by so fast and it's pretty crazy to think my senior year is coming to an end. But we're definitely on a mission and I'm trying to make the most of my last couple weeks of college hockey."

How does playing in front of a sellout crowd at LaBahn Arena compare to playing at an Olympic venue?

"Our first weekend series against Lindenwood was my first game since playing in the gold medal game. To think about the energy and the nerve and the emotion that I felt in that game, you know it's pretty crazy that we can emulate that kind of energy in our rink. LaBahn is what I'm going to miss most about college hockey. I love playing here and every time I come to the rink on a home gameday this year I've definitely taken it all in and now I'm sad that senior weekend is three weeks away. I'm definitely going to make the most of my last couple games at LaBahn."

It's a big weekend for head coach Mark Johnson. The Badgers are retiring his jersey on Saturday. Has he mentioned anything about the honor?

"I think that it's a pretty amazing honor and opportunity that all of us get to be coached by someone of his knowledge and someone with a legacy like his. It's crazy because he never talks about his past or his history, he's very in the moment and trying to pick his brain from my last couple weeks here is really important to me and I'm very proud to have been coached by him."

What's the one thing you miss most about Canada?

"Tim Horton's."

Pre-game rituals?

"I try to get a bubble tea or coffee before the game and once we get to the rink there's a long list of stuff, but I think talking to my parents and talking to my oldest brother Jeff before the game."

What's your go-to bubble tea flavor?

"Green tea passion fruit raspberry with tapioca pearls and aloe jellies."

Favorite Moment?

"Any quarterfinal game at LaBahn, because I've gotten to play in three. And winning those games and advancing to the Frozen Four each time, that's a pretty special feeling."
