Provide your feedback and help shape the fan experience
MADISON, Wis. — In its continuing efforts to connect with Badgers fans, the UW Athletic Department is looking for ticket holders and athletic event attendees to be part of its Fan Advisory Board.
The Fan Advisory Board is designed to foster a productive dialogue between fans and UW Athletics. Members of the Fan Advisory Board are able to provide feedback on presentations from department staff on a range of topics including game day experience, concessions, customer service, social media and other department policies and procedures.
The group also receives behind-the-scenes facility tours and will have the opportunity to take part in question and answer sessions. Past sessions have featured Director of Athletics Barry Alvarez, football coach Paul Chryst, men's hockey coach Tony Granato, volleyball coach Kelly Sheffield and others.
The Athletic Department is currently accepting applications for the 2019-20 Fan Advisory Board. Season ticket holders in any UW sport are strongly encouraged to apply. Applications will be also accepted from non-season ticket holders who are regular Badger game attendees. Previous season ticket holders who dropped their season tickets recently are encouraged to apply as well.
Serving on the Fan Advisory Board is a great way to support the Wisconsin Athletic Department. The commitment is three meetings during the 2019-20 academic year held at exclusive locations within and around UW Athletics facilities. These meetings are a great way for members to share their opinions and perspectives, and develop recommendations in a focused, small group setting.
The meetings for the 2019-20 season will tentatively be held on Monday, September 9, Tuesday, January 7 and Tuesday, April 14 from 5-8 p.m. in various UW Athletics facilities.
The deadline to apply is August 11, 2019. To apply, complete this online application.
