Kristie Konsoer Honored as Season Ticket Holder of the Game

Season ticket holder to be recognized as Wisconsin hosts Northwestern
MADISON, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin Athletic Department is pleased to announce Kristie Konsoer of Middleton, Wisconsin as today's Wisconsin Football Season Ticket Holder of the Game presented by BMO Harris Bank.
Konsoer has been attending Badger football games ever since her father took her to her first one while she was in grade school 40 years ago. Konsoer has enjoyed going to many games with her father Don, mother Carol, and sister Julie, over those 40 years. Don was a Wisconsin alum in the class of 1951. Kristie and Julie also went on to become Wisconsin alumni. Kristie graduated in the class of 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.
For the past seven years, Konsoer has been battling metastatic breast cancer and receives all of her treatments through the UW Carbone Center. Throughout her battle, Badgers football has remained an important part of her life. She now attends most games with her sister, Julie, to keep up the tradition she once shared with her parents. Konsoer has many fond memories at UW football games and loves supporting the Badgers year after year.
Before every home game, you can catch Konsoer and her sister grabbing a brat and checking out the band. Win or lose, supporting the Badgers will always be close to her heart.
