University Ridge Golf Course to re-open Friday

Safety precautions in place for golf

MADISON, Wis. — University Ridge Golf Course is set to re-open Friday under the extension of Wisconsin's "Safer At Home" orders.

Golfers will be asked to play within the following safety-related guidelines:

  • Tee times can be reserved online and must be pre-paid with a credit card. Please visit our website for specific details regarding reservations, gift cards and cancellations.
  • All tee times are walking only.
  • No motorized golf cars or clubs will be available for rent.
  • The clubhouse and all practice facilities (driving range, putting green, short game areas) are closed.
  • Please arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to your tee time.
  • Tee times are spaced out at 15 minutes apart and all players (unless living in the same household) must practice social distancing.
  • Maximum of four players per group and singles, twosomes and threesomes should expect to be paired up and continue to follow social distancing guidelines. Guests who are not golfing will not be permitted to walk along with golfers or walk the cart paths.

These changes to University Ridge Golf Course are expected to continue until the end of the "Safer at Home" orders (May 26, 2020).

University Ridge's golf rates are as follows:

  • Opening Day through April 30
    • $45 walking (Monday-Sunday)
    • Safer At Home Restrictions Apply
  • May 1 through May 26
    • $55 walking (Monday-Sunday)
    • Safer At Home Restrictions Apply
