MADISON, Wis. ā Beginning this fall with football and volleyball, Wisconsin Athletics will employ digital ticketing at all its home events. Fans will no longer receive physical tickets but will have the choice to use either mobile tickets or print-at-home tickets. Ā
Mobile tickets are safer, faster and allow for contactless entry. Fans never have to worry about leaving their tickets at home ā tickets are already added to their mobile wallet or can be added on the way to the event. Mobile ticketing allows for more flexibility ā such as easy transfer of tickets to relatives or friends. Mobile ticketing also helps to protect against lost, stolen or counterfeit tickets.Ā
To help fans manage their mobile tickets, Wisconsin Athletics is excited to debut its newly updated Badgers app. In addition to the latest news, videos, live stats and game day features for all UW sports, the updated app will allow fans to view and download their tickets, transfer their mobile tickets or post their tickets to sell on StubHub. Ā All of this is available simply by logging into their Wisconsin Athletics Ticket account through the app.Ā
Fans who had previously downloaded the official Wisconsin Badgers app will receive an automatic update to their app to gain access to their tickets. Fans who need to download the app for the first time can search "Wisconsin Badgers" in the
App StoreĀ or
Google Play store. Ā
The Badgers app gives fans another avenue to access their mobile tickets. Fans can also access their tickets with the ticket link they'll receive via email, or by logging into their Wisconsin Athletics Ticket account on UWBadgers.com.Ā
Fans who download their mobile tickets and add them to their digital wallet prior to arriving at a UW athletic facility will be able to access their mobile tickets without needing WiFi or data service.Ā
Fans choosing print-at-home tickets will also enjoy easy, contactless entrance to Badgers events. Fans will have their digital tickets emailed to the email address on record with the Athletic Ticket Office. Each ticket must be printed off separately on a standard 8.5x11 sheet of white paper. Print-at-home tickets displayed on a mobile device will not be accepted at the gates. Ā
Season ticket holders for football and volleyball, as well as fans who have purchased mini-packs, single-game and group tickets for football, should have already received information regarding their digital tickets. Additional information regarding digital tickets can be
