Wisconsin looks to continue its success with a road test against the Golden Eagles.
MILWAUKEE – UW men's soccer is coming off its first win after taking down Butler, 1-0, last Friday. Wisconsin hits the road today for a game at Marquette.
First Goal – Tim Bielic scored for the first time as a Badgers. The game winner clinched the first win for UW since April 4 when Wisconsin defeated No. 14 Michigan 3-2 to close out its spring 2021 season.
Clean Sheet for Abbott – The shutout victory for UW was their second clean sheet of the season and Carter Abbott's first of the year. The sophomore keeper is second in the league in saves per game (3.25) and third in save percentage (.867).
Akindele Taking The Shots – The senior forward is stepping up big for the Badgers this season and holds the Big Ten lead in shots (16) and shots on goal (8).
Last Win on the Road – The Badgers last road victory came Nov. 3, 2019, when UW beat Ohio State 1-0.
