MADISON, Wis. — To celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his dream of building the Beloved Community, Wisconsin Athletics is providing a number of opportunities for our staff and student-athletes to engage in elevating lives during the week leading up to the January 17 holiday.

Observed each year on the third Monday in January, MLK Day is the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities. We are providing a series of community engagement opportunities during the week of Jan. 10 designed to connect student-athletes and staff with an opportunity to live our values and connect with our local community.

Our Values: Service, Diversity & Inclusion, Excellence, Accountability, Passion, Selflessness, Integrity
