MILWAUKEE – Wisconsin is moving on to the second round of the 2022 NCAA Tournament after beating Colgate, 67-60, on Friday night in Milwaukee. The No. 3 seed Badgers will face No. 11 seed Iowa State on Sunday at 5:10 p.m. CT at Fiserv Forum. The game will be televised on TNT.

1.) UW Advances: Johnny Davis led all scorers with 25 points as Wisconsin beat Colgate to punch its ticket to the second round of the NCAA tournament. Over the final 10:32 of Friday night's game, the Badgers limited the Raiders to just two field goals on 2-for-11 shooting (18.2%).
2.) Kohl Center East: Badger fans made Milwaukee's Fiserv Forum feel like a home court advantage. The win improved UW's record to 13-3 away from home this season, including a 4-1 mark in neutral site games. Wisconsin is also now 4-1 all-time in NCAA tournament games played in Milwaukee.

3.)Â Tourney Success: Wisconsin has now won 12 of its last 14 opening-round games in the NCAA tournament. The program's 15 tourney wins since 2014 are tied for the seventh-highest total among Division I schools and ranks second in the Big Ten to Michigan (17). The Badgers hold a 10-0 all-time record against teams seeded 13th and lower in NCAA tournament play.
4.) Staying Alert: Wisconsin only turned over ball five times against Colgate – the second-lowest total this season and tied for the second-lowest total in an NCAA tournament game in school history. UW leads the nation with the least turnovers per game averaging just 8.4 per contest.
5.) Badgers/Cyclones History: Wisconsin and Iowa State have not met since 1981. The Cyclones hold a 5-3 advantage in the all-time series with UW. The Badgers are 3-2 all-time against Big 12 teams in the NCAA tournament.
