Multiple Badgers in the bigs hit career milestones
MADISON, WIs. – It's been almost two months since the 2023-24 NHL season began and Wisconsin alumni have continued to impress.
Former Hobey Baker winner Cole Caufield hit the big milestone of scoring 100 points in the NHL on Nov. 24 after notching an assist on Canadiens' teammate Johnathan Kovacevic's goal against the San Jose Sharks.

Caufield is currently tied with Nick Suzuki for the team lead in points, with both forwards tallying six goals and 17 points.
Defenseman Ty Emberson also reached an important milestone, scoring his first NHL goal to give the San Jose Sharks a 1-0 lead over the Vancouver Canucks on Nov. 25.

Wisconsin's 92nd Badger in the NHL currently has one goal and two assists through 14 games this season.
Former Badger and Emberson's Sharks teammate Luke Kunin has also had a strong start, scoring five goals and seven points through 22 games, including notching the game-winning goal for the Sharks against the Washington Capitals on Nov. 27.

Joe Pavelski, Ryan Suter and Craig Smith, the trio of Badgers on the Dallas Stars, have continued to make an impact with a combined total of 28 points between the two forwards and one defenseman.
Pavelski's 10 goals and 20 points lead the entire Stars' roster.

Trent Frederic of the Boston Bruins and K'Andre Miller of the New York Rangers have also been top team contributors, with Frederic notching five goals and nine points through 21 games and the defenseman Miller tallying two goals and eight points 20 games.
Wisconsin alumni have also been showing out at the professional level in the ECHL.
Former Badger goaltender Jared Moe picked up his first professional win in his first professional game on Nov. 25, making 30 saves in the Idaho Steelheads' 6-3 win over the Rapid City Rush

Brock Caufield also made his ECHL debut in October, scoring his first professional goal in his first professional game for the Newfoundland Growlers on Oct. 21.
