UW wins 14 events against Phoenix
MADISON, Wis. -- The 17th-ranked Wisconsin women's swimming and diving team celebrated Senior Day in dominating fashion, winning 14 events to defeat Green Bay, 192-95, on Friday.
Four seniors claimed event wins on the day, including double-event winner Kit Greenberg.
Wisconsin also claimed the top-three spots on the 1-meter board with the senior tallying 265.50 points for the win. Hill finished second with 248.63 points and Hampton took third with 236.48 points.
Elizabeth Moore won the 200 breaststroke in 2:15.22 as the Badgers claimed the top-three places. Alex Anagnostopoulos took second in 2:22.35 while Natalie Bercutt was third in 2:24.08.
Senior Mallory Jump also won her final event in the Soderholm Family Aquatic Center, touching first in the 200 individual medley in 2:01.75. It was another Badger sweep as junior Phoebe Bacon took second in 2:01.78 while freshman Hazal Ozkan finished third in 2:04.38.
The Badgers swept the freestyle event as freshman Regan Miller won the 50 free in 23.69. Sophomore Sophie Fiske touched in 52.33 for the win in the 100 free while Miller was a close second in 52.41.
Sophomore Mackenzie McConagha claimed the 200 free in 1:50.52 while sophomore Paige McKenna finished second in 1:53.77. McKenna won the 500 free in 4:51.18 while junior Elle Braun led all finishers in the 1000 free, touching in 10:02.81.
Wisconsin also won both backstroke events with Anna teDuits claiming the 100 back in 57.36 while Kaylyn Schoof touched in 2:03.19 to win the 200 back.
UW's other event winners were Abby Carlson in the 100 fly in 55.98 and the team of Jump, Bacon, Fiske, and Ozkan winning the 200 medley relay in 1:38.59.

Greenberg sweeps diving events
Greenberg wrapped up her home career with wins in the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events. The senior from Tarrytown, New York, led a 1-2-3 sweep for the Badgers on the 3-meter board. Greenberg won with 277.13 points while Molly Hampton finished second with 265.58 points and Yasmin Hill took third with 250.73 points.Wisconsin also claimed the top-three spots on the 1-meter board with the senior tallying 265.50 points for the win. Hill finished second with 248.63 points and Hampton took third with 236.48 points.
Senior winners
Three other seniors won events as Mikayla Seigal led UW to a 1-2 finish in the 200 butterfly. Seigal touch in 2 minutes, 1.95 seconds while freshman Blair Stoneburg finished second in 2:04.82.Elizabeth Moore won the 200 breaststroke in 2:15.22 as the Badgers claimed the top-three places. Alex Anagnostopoulos took second in 2:22.35 while Natalie Bercutt was third in 2:24.08.
