4 - NO. 1: The nation's top-ranked team will skate at the Kohl Center for the first time since 2014 when the Badgers played host to then-No. 1 Minnesota and swept the series with a pair of 2-1 wins.
UW also played host to then-No. 1 Minnesota on Jan. 9-10, 2021, at LaBahn Arena during the pandemic and won a 3-1 game in the first contest to end Minnesota's 10-0-0 start to the season. UW dropped the second game, 5-3.
Wisconsin split with Minnesota at the Kohl Center last season, winning on Nov. 5, 2021, when the Badgers downed the No. 5 Gophers 4-3 in overtime thanks to an equalizer and game-winner from Brock Caufield.
