Badgers announce 2023 schedule

UW opens regular season against Kansas on Aug. 17
MADISON, Wis. – With the 2023-24 school year readily approaching, Wisconsin women's soccer head coach Paula Wilkins announced the team's 20-match schedule on Friday.Â
The Badgers will host DePaul (Aug. 4) and Green Bay (Aug. 11) for exhibitions before kicking off the season at McClimon Field versus Kansas (Aug. 17) and follow with a matchup against UIC (Aug. 20).
Wisconsin will hit the road for challenges with ACC powers North Carolina (Aug. 24) and Duke (Aug. 27). The Badgers will break from the road for a showdown with LSU (Aug. 31) and close out non-conference action against Western Michigan (Sept.3 ), Loyola (Sept. 7), and Marquette (Sept. 10).
Big Ten play starts on the road at Nebraska (Sept. 15) and follows with two straight matches at McClimon versus Iowa (Sept. 21) and Michigan State (Sept. 24). The Badgers host Ohio State (Oct. 15) for their home finale before capping the regular season at defending conference champion Penn State (Oct. 22).
The Big Ten Tournament will start Oct. 29 and conclude Nov. 5.
