UW Athletic Board approves coaches contracts

Eight Badger coaches have contracts extended

MADISON, Wis. — The UW Athletic Board met Friday afternoon and approved the following recommendations of the UW Department of Athletics regarding contracts for various sports head coaches:

Men's tennis coach Danny Westerman's five-year agreement was extended through May 31, 2029.
Women's tennis coach Kelcy McKenna's three-year agreement was extended through May 31, 2027.
Men's golf coach Mike Wilson's five-year agreement was extended through May 31, 2029.
Women's golf coach Todd Oehrlein's five-year agreement was extended through May 31, 2029.
Director of cross country and track & field Mick Byrne's five-year agreement was extended through May 31, 2029.
Softball coach Yvette Healy's five-year agreement was extended through May 31, 2029.
Men's rowing coach Beau Hoopman's three-year agreement was extended through May 31, 2027.
Women's rowing coach Vicky Opitz's three-year agreement was extended through May 31, 2027.
