MADISON, Wis. – The No. 19 Wisconsin women's soccer team will open the 2024 season on the road at No. 3 BYU. The game will be held at South Field in Provo, Utah, on Thursday, August 15 at 8:00 p.m. (CT).

1. KNOW THE OPPONENT: The Cougars had an overall record of 20-3-3, going undefeated in conference play at 7-0-3 in 2023.
BYU finished ranked No. 4 a season ago, and made a run to the NCAA College Cup, falling to Stanford 2-0 in the semifinal match.
With nine starters graduating last year, BYU returns two starters in junior forward Allie Fryer and sophomore goalkeeper Lynette Hernaez.

2. WILKINS AT THE HELM: In her eighteenth season as a Badger, head coach Paula Wilkins has compiled an overall record of 312-119-67 (193-100-56 at Wisconsin).
She is ranked second in the Big Ten for career wins as a head coach, securing eight Big Ten titles besides three Big Ten Tournament titles.
