Women's tennis sees presence in ITA Preseason Polls

Three Badgers ranked nationally
MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin women's tennis team has earned four spots in the ITA Preseason Polls, announced on Tuesday.Â
On the doubles side, Alina Mukhortova and Maria Sholokhova came in at No. 5. This is the highest-ever preseason ranking the team has had.Â
Also in the doubles poll was the duo of Tianna Rangan and Taylor Cataldi. They checked in at No. 72.
Sholokhova and Cataldi also saw rankings in the singles polls, sitting at No. 44 and No. 95.
The women's tennis team will begin its NCAA qualifier events on Sept. 21 at the 2024 Women's All-American Championships in Cary, North Carolina.
