LINCOLN, Neb. -The Wisconsin wrestling team fell to No. 6 Nebraska in a tough 35-7 loss on Friday, Jan. 31, at the Devaney Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.
No. 17 Nicolar Rivera added another win to his season, defeating Kael Lauridsen by decision 8-2. His season record is now 14-2.
Meanwhile, No. 22 Zan Fugitt upset No. 14 Jacob Van Dee with a dominant 11-1 major decision, following his first Big Ten win last week against Minnesota.
Wisconsin is now 4-9 on the season, with an 0-5 mark in conference play.
Looking Ahead
Next Friday, Feb. 7, Wisconsin will host Purdue at the UW Field House for Student Night. The dual will begin at 9 p.m. and can be streamed live on Big Ten Network.
