
Eight Badgers earn Big Ten postseason honors

Wisconsin records its best conference showing since 2019 with eight players recognized
MADISON, Wis. - Eight members of the Wisconsin women's soccer team earned Big Ten postseason honors, the conference announced Tuesday.
Juniors Erin Connolly and Hailey Baumann led the way with First Team All-Big Ten recognition. Connolly paced the Badgers with seven goals, while Baumann anchored one of the league's top defensive units and ranks among conference leaders in minutes played (1,675).
Graduate student Madison Ishaug and junior Ella Ottey were named to the Second Team All-Big Ten, and senior goalkeeper Drew Stover earned Third Team All-Big Ten honors after posting 10 shutouts, including four straight from Oct. 4–16 - tying the program's 10th all-time record.
Redshirt freshman forward Brooke Allen and freshman defender Kiara Gilmore were both selected to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team. Allen ranks second on the team with six goals, while Gilmore leads all Big Ten freshmen in minutes played (1,659).
Senior Maddie Poor was recognized as Wisconsin's Big Ten Sportsmanship Award Honoree.
The Badgers' eight total honors mark their best postseason showing since 2019, when 11 Wisconsin players earned Big Ten recognition.

The Badgers continue postseason play against No. 1-seeded Washington in the Big Ten Tournament semifinal on Nov. 6 at 3 p.m. (CT) at Energizer Park in St. Louis, Missouri. The match will be streamed live on the Big Ten Network.
