November 06, 2025 | Women's Soccer
Boer scores shorthanded Badger goal
How it Happened
First Half
Wisconsin and Washington traded early chances, but the Huskies broke through late in the half, scoring in the 38th and 39th minutes to take a 2–0 lead.
Despite earning four first-half corners and sustaining offensive pressure, the Badgers entered the break trailing by two.
Second Half
Wisconsin opened the second half with urgency, but momentum shifted in the 50th minute when Kiara Gilmore was issued a red card, forcing the Badgers to play a player down the rest of the way.
Even so, Wisconsin held strong defensively and continued to push forward. Their persistence paid off in the 84th minute when Adee Boer fired a shot into the back of the net to cut the deficit to 2–1.
The Badgers continued to press for the equalizer in the final minutes, but were unable to capitalize ending the match 2-1.ADEE BOER EVERYONE! #OnWisconsin pic.twitter.com/uzXUF9RS3c
