COLUMBUS, Ohio – For the fourth consecutive season, the women's Wisconsin swim and dive team finished fourth at the Big Ten Championships. Fifth-year Phoebe Bacon claimed her third victory of the meet and was named Swimmer of the Championships. 

As a team, the Badgers finished with 849 points, as Ohio State won it with 1313.5 points, Indiana finished in second with 1255.5 points and Michigan in third with 1149.5 points. 

For the fourth time in her career and second in a row, Phoebe Bacon was crowned the Big Ten 200 backstroke champion with a time of 1:48.75. Freshman Maggie Wanezek came in fifth with a time of 1:53.38. 

Mack McConagha finished strong in her Big Ten career with a podium finish in the 200 butterfly, finishing in third place with a time of 1:55.84. 

On the distance side, Paige McKenna finished in the top five with a time of 16:00.75. Elle Braun finished 12th with a time of 16:10.84, with Maddie Waggoner right behind her in 13th and Blair Stoneburg in 15th. 

Abby Wanezek led the team in the 100 freestyle with a 14th-place finish with a time of 48.65, as Hailey Tierney joined her in the consolation final in 16th place. Abby Carlson and Lily Gardner finished 19th and 24th, respectively. 

The Badgers had six swimmers advance to finals in the 200 breaststroke, as Hazal Ozkan led the team with a fourth-place finish with a time of 2:08.22. Bridget McGann won the consolation final in ninth with a time of 2:09.72. Katie McClintock, Callahan Dunn, Ally Silvestri and Stella Chapman all finished in the C-final.
