MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin women's swimming and diving team will send 10 student-athletes to the 2025 NCAA swimming diving championships in Federal Way, Wash. on March 19-22.
The Badgers will be competing in nine different individual events, as well as all five relays.
In the 100 back,
Phoebe Bacon is seeded fifth, and freshman
Maggie Wanezek, seeded 14th. In the 200 back, Bacon is seeded fourth, while Wanezek is seeded ninth.
Hailey Tierney will be representing the Badgers in the 50 freestyle, seeded 13th. In the 200 free,
Abby Carlson is seeded 22nd, while in the 500 free she is seeded 21st.
Paige McKenna represents the Badgers in the mile (1650 free), seeded 20th.
Bacon is seeded sixth in the 200 IM, while
Callahan Dunn is seeded 31st. In the 400 IM, Dunn checks in at 20th.
Mackenzie McConagha is set to compete in the 200 butterfly, seeded 28th.
Hazal Ozkan rounds it out in the 200 breast, seeded 20th.
Abby Wanezek and
Blair Stoneburg will also be competing in the relays during the weekend as well.
