
Freshman Abby Ballek called up to Women's Talent ID Camp

Madison, Wis. – Freshman forward Abby Ballek has been called up to a first-of-its-kind Women's College Talent ID Camp.
The camp will run for five days and take place in Atlanta Georgia. It is a collaboration between the Talent ID staff, the U.S. Youth National Teams' head coaches and USWNT staff. This experience is part of the growing U.S. Youth National Teams' scouting strategy with the goal of increasing programming opportunities for college-specific players with high potential.
Ballek is a native of Timnath, Colorado and was one of 42 players called up from 28 different college programs. She was a highly decorated high school player being named Colorado Gatorade Player of the Year Finalist and the 2024 Colorado Front Range 5A Player of the Year. Ballek also earned 5A Colorado All-State honors three times and was named to the Front Range First Team All-Conference for three consecutive seasons.
