Straight from the Court:
Head Coach Kelly Sheffield (on learning, improving before the regular season begins)
"We've got to continue to tighten up some of the techniques that we've been working on. That's always one of the things we deal with a lot over practices, that when you're trying to build new habits, you have to be really mindful of that. Then when it's time to compete, you have to let it rip."
On Carter Booth's leadership, veteran presence
"She's a beast, it's not just with her play but with her mentality as well. She offers a lot of strength for our team, confidence to our players, who all have a deep respect for her and the work that she puts in. She's incredibly important to us."
Up Next: The Badgers prepare to host the Opening Spike Classic to kick off the 2025 regular season, as No. 15 Kansas, No. 12 Creighton and No. 5 Texas will all make their way to Madison to compete on both Friday, Aug. 29 and Sunday, Aug. 31. UW will battle against the Jayhawks on Aug. 29 at 6:00 p.m. CT, and conclude the weekend against the Longhorns at 1:00 p.m. CT. Both games will be televised on Big Ten Network.
