MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin men's soccer team secured its first win of the 2025 season with a 4-1 victory over the Bradley Braves. The Badgers scored twice in the first half and added two more goals late in the second frame.Â
How It Happened:
Graduate student Bart Muns netted the first Wisconsin goal of the season in the 15th minute. The Badgers took advantage of a Bradley defensive miscue to get on the board early. Senior forward Thomas Raimbault forced the turnover to give Muns the open net shot.Â

Ola Arntsen would double the Badgers' lead with a dart to the left corner in the 38th minute. The goal was set up by freshman Aidan Martinez.

The Badgers held off the Braves offensive pressure throughout the second half. In the 74th minute, Wisconsin took advantage of a Bradley foul when sophomore Matthew Zachemski deposited the penalty kick into the back of the net.

The Braves erased Wisconsin's shutout with a penalty kick of their own from Kevin Mejias in the 86th minute. The Badgers answered back quickly with a breakaway goal from Muns in the 88th minute.Â
