Badgers begin season on Oct. 4 at the Milwaukee River Challenge

FULL SCHEDULE 

MADISON, Wis.
– The 2025-26 University of Wisconsin school year is underway, which means that another season of Badger women's rowing is just around the corner. 

The UW openweights begin their fall season at the Milwaukee River Challenge on Saturday, Oct. 4, before heading to the historic Head of the Charles regatta on Sunday, Oct. 19 in Boston. 

To wrap up fall racing, the Badgers will host two scrimmages on Lake Mendota, one against Eastern Michigan on Oct. 25 and another against Minnesota on Nov. 1. Spectator information will be available closer to the events. 

Wisconsin kicks off its spring slate with the Cardinal Invite on March 14-15 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. It then heads west to California for the San Diego Crew Classic on March 28-29 and a scrimmage against San Diego State on April 4. 

For its final regular season regatta, the Badgers will travel to Lake Natoma, California, for the Big Ten Invitational, before stopping in Minneapolis for another scrimmage against Minnesota on May 1.

The women's rowing postseason begins on May 16-17 with the 2026 Big Ten Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana, while the 2026 NCAA Championships will be held May 29-31 in Gainesville, Georgia.
