Williams, Casey, Hilby and Noakes shave a second off previous record

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Wisconsin men's track and field team split squad on Saturday, posting a school record in the distance medley relay at the Alex Wilson Invitational and a victory in the shot put at the Panther Tune-Up.

At Notre Dame, the Badgers' DMR of Andrew Casey, Jalen Williams, Patrick Hilby and Archie Noakes ran 9:18.44, shaving a second off of the previous school record of 9:19.99 set in 2023. Their mark ranks third in the Big Ten Conference and sixth in the country.

In the mile, Cillian Gleeson placed sixth in 4:07.61.

In Milwaukee, Kyle Clabough won the shot put with a throw of 59 feet, 2 ¾ inches (18.05m) at the Panther Tune-Up.
