UW Athletic Board approves coaches contracts

Six Badger coaches have contracts extended

MADISON, Wis. — The UW Athletic Board met Wednesday afternoon and approved the following recommendations of the UW Department of Athletics regarding contracts for various sports head coaches:

Wrestling coach Chris Bono's five-year agreement was extended through May 31, 2031.
Swimming and diving coach Jack Brown's five-year agreement was extended through May 31, 2031.
Men's basketball coach Greg Gard's five-year agreement was extended through May 31, 2031.
Men's hockey coach Mike Hastings' five-year agreement was extended through May 30, 2031.
Women's hockey coach Mark Johnson's five-year agreement was extended through June 30, 2031.
Women's basketball coach Robin Pingeton's five-year agreement was extended through May 31, 2031.
