Throwers, middle distance runners pace Badgers on Friday
LONG BEACH ,California — Three Badgers were in action Friday as Wisconsin continued its California slate at the Beach Invite and Bryan Clay Invitational.
In Long Beach, throwers Morgan Flaska and Nora Skoraczewski opened the day in the hammer throw at the Beach Invite, finishing 19th and 20th. Flaska led the pair with a mark of 175 feet, 5 inches (53.47m), followed closely by Skoraczewski at 173-5 (52.87m).
Down in Azusa, Emma Kruse took on the 800 meters at the Bryan Clay Invitational, clocking 2 minutes, 10.18 seconds.
Up Next: Wisconsin continues competition Saturday at both the Beach Invite in Long Beach and the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa as the team wraps up its multi-meet California stretch.
