Second and third varsity fours cross the finish line third in petite finals
INDIANAPOLIS – The Wisconsin women's rowing team was led by its fours in Sunday finals at the 2026 Big Ten Rowing Championships at Eagle Creek Park.

UW's second and third varsity fours both placed ninth overall and finished third in their petite finals on the 2000-meter race course. The Badgers varsity four claimed fourth in its petite final for 10th overall.
UW's varsity, second and third varsity eights all finished fifth in petite finals for 11th place overall in each event.
The Badgers earned 57 points to place 11th as a team.
Washington won six of seven events, with the first, second and fourth varsity eight events, as well as the first, second and third varsity four races. Rutgers captured the third varsity eight.
Senior Sophia Gruenling earned second-team All-Big Ten honors after earning first-team accolades last season, while Aliza Korman was named the Badgers' Big Ten Sportsmanship Award winner. Â
