165 Badgers earn spring Academic All-Big Ten honors

MADISON, Wis. — A total of 165 student-athletes from the University of Wisconsin's spring and at-large sports teams earned 2025-26 Academic All-Big Ten honors, recognizing their achievements in both academics and athletics, as announced by the Big Ten Conference on Wednesday.

Women's rowing and women's track & field led the way with 31 and 24 honorees, respectively, while women's lightweight rowing had 22 student-athletes recognized. Men's rowing totaled 21 honorees while women's hockey posted 17 and men's track & field had 13. Softball saw 11 members recognized, and men's golf and men's tennis each had eight student-athletes honored. Both the women's golf and women's tennis programs had five honorees each.

To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be on a varsity team (as verified by being on the official squad list as of May 1 for spring sports), have been enrolled full time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
