Badgers complete first two rounds at Fighting Irish Classic
SOUTH BEND, Ind. — After the first two rounds of play at the Fighting Irish Classic, UW lands itself in a 6th-place spot, carding a 591.
Senior Kate Brody tied for third, finding eight birdies across 36 holes and shooting two-under-par.
With three birdies, Tammy Wu finished tied for 23rd at seven-over-par.
Tied for 40th was sophomore Grace Slocum, collecting three birdies.
Wisconsin's individual competitor, Lauren Sammon, tied for 59th place. Sammon garnered two birdies during the first 18 holes.
Jillian Bowman and Elyssa Abdullah tied for 63rd. The pair of Badgers each shot a 157 across 36 holes.
The Badgers will continue on to play 18 more holes tomorrow to wrap up the third and final round of the Fighting Irish Classic.
