2019-20: Despite a playoff schedule that ended early before the Badgers’ 2020 NCAA quarterfinal game against Clarkson, Roque played in all 36 games this season helping UW to a WCHA regular season title … served as alternate captain … had a career season recording a high of 58 points thanks to 26 goals and 32 assists all of which ranked in the top-10 in the country … second -best faceoff percentage in the country at .656 while her 523 faceoff wins paced the nation … helped UW set a program record of 35.2 power-play goals notching nine of her own this season to rank in the NCAA top-five … named 2020 WCHA Player of the Year, 2020 USCHO D-1 Women’s Player of the Year, top-three finalist for the 2020 Patty Kazmaier Award and All-Tournament in the WCHA title game (March 8) … scored a power-play goal 56 seconds into UW’s 4-1 win in the semifinal round of the 2020 WCHA Final Faceoff (March 7) … had a team high of five game-winning goals, two game-tying goals and one short-handed goal … posted the only two regulation goals against Ohio State, one each game, tying the Buckeyes 1-1 in Fill the Bowl (Feb. 15-16) … netted her second career hat-trick and 50th career goal in UW’s 5-4 OT win over No. 2 Minnesota at home (Jan. 24) … had a six-point weekend in the sweep of Minnesota Duluth (Dec. 6-7) with a four-point game in UW’s 4-3 win over Minnesota Duluth (Dec. 6) … became the eighth Badger to tally 100 career assists after posting two during UW’s 5-3 win over St. Cloud State (Nov. 23) … named NCAA First Star of the Week and the WCHA Forward of the Week (Nov. 19) after leading the Badgers to a weekend sweep over Minnesota State tallying six points … had a four-point game against Minnesota State, two goals and two assists (Nov. 17) … ended with a team high of a +37 rating … made her national team debut in the 2019-20 Rivalry Series tallying two goals Dec. 14 and Dec. 17
2018-19: A member of the 2019 National Championship team, Roque played in all 41 games this season for UW. Finished with the second-most points on the team with 43 off of 11 goals and 32 assists. Roque tallied a point in each of Wisconsin's final nine contests, including the game-winning goal in UW's 5-0 Frozen Four victory over Clarkson on Mar. 22. The junior forward was named a All-WCHA Second-Team honoree and lead the Badgers in power-play goals with six. The Badgers were 29-0-2 when Roque scored at least a point.
2017-18: Appeared in all 38 games... led team and WCHA in point-scoring with 41 points from 11 goals and 30 assists... notched a team-high 30 assists... third in goal-scoring on the squad... awarded WCHA Offensive Player of the Month in Sept. and Oct. 2017... registered a +30 plus/minus rating... tied for first in game-winning goals with four... scored the game-winner against Minnesota Duluth on Dec. 1, 2017... averaged 1.08 points per game... recorded a team-high 13 multi-point games this season... ranked fourth in the league in faceoff percentage with a 59.9 clip... enjoyed a seven-game point streak from Oct. 20 to Nov. 4... named to the All-WCHA First Team... named WCHA Offensive Player of the Year
2016-17: Played in all 40 games for the Badgers, scoring 28 points with eight goals and 20 assists ... named the WCHA Rookie of the Year ... three-time WCHA Rookie of the Week, including WCHA Rookie of the Month in February ... led all WCHA rookies in points... tallied the game-winning assist in the NCAA Frozen Four semifinal (Mar. 17, 2017) ... anchored UW's second power-play unit... tied for a team-high four power-play goals ... scored two goals and added an assist against Bemidji State on Feb. 3 ... recorded two assists and a goal on Feb. 12 against Minnesota-Duluth
Prep: Competed with the Sault Area High School boys’ team, averaging more than a point per game… Blue Devils won the 2015 Regional Championship, and finished as state runner-ups in 2013 and 2014… Roque was awarded the team’s Perseverance Award and the Marcus Andary Mentorship Award… also competed in soccer and golf for the Blue Devils… member of the school’s honor roll and was named the English/Language Arts Student of the Year… played with Team USA at the 2014 and 2015 IIHF U18 World Championships, winning a silver and gold medal respectively... four-time National Player Development Camp attendee and 2014 Women’s National Festival participant.
Personal: Parents are Julia and Jim Roque… father, Jim, is a scout for the Arizona Coyotes and spent nine years as a head coach of the Lake Superior State men's hockey team … has a 19-year old sister, Emma… favorite food is steak… role model is her father, Jim… started playing hockey when she was four... major is marketing.
