Voucher Exchange and Gameday Information
The men’s hockey student season ticket sections, which include a maximum of 2,560 seats, are situated around the south end of the Kohl Center. The men’s hockey student season ticket sections are comprised of 113, 114, 115, 116, 117, 212, 213, 214, 215, 216. The 300 level will be opened if necessary.
Students must enter the Kohl Center through the designated Student Gate, which is located on the north end (Dayton Street) of the Kohl Center; right hand side of Gate A. Student ticket exchange begins 90 minutes prior to puck-drop. At the end of the 2nd period the student gate will be closed. Students will not be allowed to enter the Kohl Center once the student gate is closed.
On game day, students will have their mobile voucher scanned for admission into the Kohl Center at the student gate. Students will receive a reserved seat ticket from a representative of the Athletic Ticket Office. Tickets will be distributed from the rows closest to the ice through to the top rows of the 200-level student season ticket sections. Students are required to sit in the section, row and seat that are printed on the ticket they receive.
Students wishing to sit together should enter through the student gate at the same time, get in a single file line, and have their tickets scanned by the attendant. Following this procedure will ensure that groups of friends are allocated tickets together.
After students enter the arena and receive their ticket, they may not exit the arena and re-enter just by showing their ticket. Students also must sit in their designated section, row and seat, and must have both their game ticket, as well as access to their mobile device at all times, or are subject to removal from the Kohl Center.
Single Game Tickets
UW-Madison students may purchase discounted single game vouchers beginning in early October. Discounted student vouchers are $12 and will be available for all home games. There is a limit of one (1) ticket per student. Students who purchase single game vouchers will need to enter the student gate to receive a reserved seat in the student section.
Accessible Seating
Students needing accessible seating should buy student season tickets or single game vouchers per the information on this page. When you arrive at the Kohl Center and have your voucher scanned at the student gate, you can request a wheelchair/accessible seating, assistive listening devices (ALDs) at that time. Other disability-related accommodations should be requested in advance.
