Season Ticket Seating Results
About the Seating Process for Prime Reserved & Reserved Season Tickets
Patrons with prime reserved and/or reserved season ticket(s) from the previous season are able to purchase their same seat location(s), request additional season ticket(s), or request a seat change for the upcoming season during the season ticket order period. Prospective new season ticket holders are able to request prime reserved or reserved season ticket(s) during the season ticket order period. Two factors which impact seat selection are ticket availability and donor rank. All requests for new or additional prime reserved or reserved season ticket(s) or seat changes are filled based on availability in order of annual giving level, followed by donor rank priority points within each annual giving level as of the order deadline. Requests for new or additional prime reserved season ticket(s) are automatically considered for reserved season tickets if there is no availability in prime reserved seating areas. Should demand exceed supply of reserved season ticket(s), requests will then be considered for general admission season ticket(s), if available.

Benefit Allocation Process and Donor Rank
In an effort to equitably serve Wisconsin Athletics donors, the allocation process to determine priority for tickets and parking is based on two factors:
1st — Annual Giving Level
Donor rank is first determined by annual giving level. In 2020, there were 1,827 volleyball season ticket holder accounts. The graphic below shows the number (percentage) of volleyball season ticket accounts within each 2020 annual giving level.
| Annual Giving Level | Number (%) of Volleyball Season Ticket Accounts |
|---|---|
| Ambassador's Circle ($50,000) | 23 (1%) |
| Hall of Fame Club ($25,000) | 8 (1%) |
| MVP Club ($15,000) | 13 (1%) |
| Champion's Club ($10,000) | 13 (1%) |
| All-American Club ($5,000) | 45 (2%) |
| Director's Club ($2,500) | 56 (3%) |
| Coach's Club ($1,000) | 135 (7%) |
| Captain's Club ($500) | 102 (6%) |
| Red & White Club ($250) | 113 (6%) |
| Walk-On Club ($50) | 238 (13%) |
| Season Ticket Holder (Non-Donor) | 1,081 (59%) |
2nd — Donor Rank Priority Points (within each annual giving level)
Donor rank priority points are based on the factors listed in the table below. These priority points are used for ranking donors within each annual giving level. Donor rank priority points are only applied for active donors.
| Donor Rank Priority Point Factors | Points |
|---|---|
| Current year giving to athletics | 10/$100 |
| Consecutive years of active giving to athletics (since 2001) | 10/Year |
| Prior years giving to athletics (since 1982) | 10/$100 |
| Consecutive years of active season ticket purchase* | 10/Year |
| UW-Madison Letterwinner (one-time credit) | 100 |
| UW-Madison Graduate (one-time credit) | 50 |
| *Season ticket purchases in football, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's hockey, wrestling, and volleyball qualify for priority points. |
2020 Seating Results: Prime Reserved & Reserved Season Tickets
The table below shows the 2020 annual giving level and donor rank priority point thresholds needed for seat improvement, or new or additional season tickets for two (2) or four (4) seats together. For the 3rd consecutive year, all season tickets holders who were also current donors, that requested new or additional reserved season tickets received an offer for reserved season tickets. It is recommended to use last season’s results only as a guide, as past results cannot guarantee future results.
For simplicity sake, similar sections are grouped together in the table below based on their proximity to and from the volleyball court and net. The sections are grouped within two season ticket price categories; prime reserved and reserved; and further broken out into two row categories of courtside and first balcony. Courtside refers to the lower rows (closer to the court) in the sections, specifically rows 2-17, whereas first balcony refers to the higher rows (farther away from the court) in the sections, specifically rows 18 and above.
An example of how to read the table below is in order to have the opportunity to purchase up to two (2) new or additional prime reserved season tickets, or move two (2) current reserved season tickets, into prime reserved sections F or R (courtside), a current or prospective season ticket holder in 2020 needed to be a minimum donor at the Hall of Fame Club ($25,000) with 26,639 priority points. Should a current or prospective season ticket holder not have met those donor and priority point thresholds, their request for prime reserved season tickets would have been denied and they would have been considered for alternative reserved seating options.
