Wisconsin Football : 2024 Spring Practice
The Wisconsin Badgers began preparations for the 2024 season with the dawn of spring practice on Friday, March 22. Entering the seconds season under head coach Luke Fickell, the Badgers will blend returning talent with fresh faces. Safety Hunter Wohler, the Badgers' leading tackler in 2023, returns to spearhead the defense and running back Chez Mellusi gears up for a final season as one of the Badgers' offensive playmakers.
UW welcomes 9 early-enrollee freshman and 12 transfers for the spring. Experienced players, like QB Tyler Van Dyke (Miami) and LB Jaheim Thomas (Arkansas), mesh with members of the nation’s No. 23 2024 signing class as spring practice begun.
