Michael Ballard begins his redshirt junior season with Wisconsin, having appeared in 20 career games. A two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree (2018, 19), the Oak Park, Illinois native is a proven hard worker and team player. Ballard guided Fenwick High School to a mark of 28-3 and the Chicago Catholic League title in 2015-16, averaging 10.3 points per game. As a prep senior, Ballard ranked second on the team for the Friars averaging 10.3 points per game, shooting 39 percent from 3-point range.
