  • Played 4 years of football, earning 1 letter; 3x conference champions

  • WIAA Division 3 runner up state championship

  • Played 2 years of tennis

  • JV conference champions

  • Won gold in the Men’s 8+ and Men’s 4+ at the Duluth International Regatta in 2024; competed at Canadian Henley in 2022 and 2023

Why Wisconsin: 

"I originally chose UW Madison for their top Real Estate and Jazz Studies programs. Because I was unable to try out as a Freshman due to Covid, I was fortunate enough to row a 4th year as a Masters Student.”

 

What Wisconsin rowing means to you:

2022-23 (Junior): Placed 15th at IRA Championships rowing with the third varsity eight boat.

2021-22 (Sophomore): Academic All Big Ten.

2020-21 (Freshman):

High School:
Played football for five years ... was a conference champion three years in a row ... was the WIAA Division 3 State Runner-Up in 2017 ... played tennis for three years ... was a conference champion in 2018 ... was second at the conference championship in 2019 

Personal: Parents are Clarice Hintzman and David Hintzman... father is self-employed... has one sibling, Andrew ... major is real estate and jazz studies 

Reason for choosing UW-Madison: As a first generation college student, I always wanted to go to Madison as a high school student. I also knew I wanted to double major in Jazz and Real Estate and Wisconsin has great programs for both.
